Nurture Ministry is called to take care of our congregation members. They offer opportunities of fellowship, small groups, care, and activities to nourish the congregation.
Opportunities in Nurture Ministry:
Card Ministry - Greeting cards are sent to those with current prayer needs.
Martha’s Ministry - Loving assistance to church families during times of bereavement. Providing receptions for funerals or memorial services and/or providing meals for the family.
Travelers - local and long-distance travel opportunities for adults planned throughout the year.
First Aid and Blood Drives - twice a year we have a blood drive with the best canteen you have ever seen. We also offer training in first aid periodically.
Prayer Shawl Ministry - A group of knitters and crocheters make prayer shawls and pray for those who will receive them.
Fellowship Events - throughout the year we plan fellowship events for our congregation.
Advent Dinner - our annual dinner to celebrate Advent and Christmas as a church family.
SL8 - St. Luke’s 8 is adult fellowship in groups of 8 that meet for dinner, Bible study, book reviews, or other activities.
Wednesday Night Suppers - a weekly dinner during the school year to give people a mid-week break and for fellowship with fellow church members.
